女作家溫特生說：<每當我們做出了一個重大選擇，另一個自己就會活在那個被捨棄的選擇裡>這本書就是講了這樣兩個關於愛情對象的選擇，創造出兩個極相似的主角，擁有相同的記憶跟生活背景，偶然相遇後交換身分的小說。書中用到了mobius Strip來形容一個人的人生，我覺得是很妙的比喻，很寫實，"原本以為走在裡面，不知不覺卻走到了外面，而且一直在同樣的地方打轉，不可能走到別的地方，一直走在一條封閉的帶子上。"
