It is an honour to receive it as a gift from the author as it is a milestone revolutionary thing in digital communication mathematics. The book is really beyond my ability. But it is great to have my name inside it.
This book contains a thorough discussion of the classical topics in information theory together with the first comprehensive treatment of network coding, a subject first emerged under information theory in the mid 1990's that has now diffused into coding theory, computer networks, wireless communications, complexity theory, cryptography, graph theory, etc. With a large number of examples, illustrations, and original problems, this book is excellent as a textbook or reference book for a senior or graduate level course on the subject, as well as a reference for researchers in related fields.

although boring, it is a detailed intro to
ETF, which have not received its due attention in the local investment scene up to 2008,
here we only got 2800,2823,2828 which receive attention , of the rest, probably the LYXOR russia, c0mmodity and India got big sales volume.
In comparison we have got in the USA markets, ishares,etc with huge market shares...
we got far better essays on etf in yahoo and statestreets website, but not including HK and Asian data....

good concept but actually is very common sense, know by all those involved in front line doing sales...
It is a good talking point for the beaurocrat, but actually of doubtful practical value. Obviously those who really should know it, knows it already. Those that are doing first line and still do not know it before reading this book, I feel sorry for them.
