If you are in trouble and need religious answer, then this book might be for you. The story starts okay, but the conversation with God makes my mind wondering away often.

The Help

A book that make you laugh, cry and something to think about. Mysteries and history are cleverly inserted. The story is advancing from 3 different characters's point of view which make the 722 pages feels like nothing.
Highly recommended!

Ask that question to a kid who has been kicked out of schools, whose parents chooses drugs rather than him.
This book make me realize, that people become homeless might not because they wanted to (laziness), but because maybe they was born to a wrong parents and grew up at the wrong places and they met no miracles all along?

The book teach me: to listen your grands' stories for there're wisdom and FUN on it ... I'm afraid I'm already too late for that :(
Although the end of the story is predictable, I still love this book and it still full of surprises.

The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963

OMG this book is hilarious!!
Funny with some historical events and a lot of love between family members. The first 2/3 is just a common comical events, then the story twisted into a shocking phase. I just love it!!

Not as exciting as his first book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" I'm afraid, but not a disappointment either.
It's a story about a family with their own problems and how they deal with it.

I's afriad I need to read lots and lots of books to understand the humor.
For me, the mysteri is too simple to crack, not the book kind of mysteries books that enable me to stay awake all night. But I might re-read this book if I want to improve my English.

A Step From Heaven

A painful story about an imigrant family in america, beautifuly told. A story that made me think, sometimes traditional culture can make life miserable.
