Sinceramente non sapevo esistesse il libro, quindi ho visto il film... tragico errore! Il libro non regge il confronto, l' ho trovato senza spessore, Miranda è pazza e basta, Andy un pò di salva ma nel complesso non è un libro che rileggerei

I like Anne Hathaway however I can say that still the novel was greater than the movie itself. Andrea's characters development in the story on how she was able to make it on the top of her career. Its full of humor and its a great read, if you want to read an amusing story more on fashions or like fictional runaway magazines story then this book is for you

Ne' che dire... Sono turbata. Non riesco a conciliare l'immagine di Miranda del libro, con quella di Meryl Streep. Lo so, lo so.

The Real Career Life That Are Present in “The devil Wears Prada”. A freshman of the career tried to find ideal occupation in New York, but Andrea didn’t because she had not any experience. “Fortunately”, she acquired a job as an assistant which she was a bit unsatisfying but that was a few opportunity in the keen city. During she was in Runway, dealing with something felt boring and uninteresting. That is, she didn’t like fashion. For her personally, she just wanted to stay here for one year and then wrote for The New Yorker.
Entered the office, she noticed everyone was totally different from her. Her coworkers wore gorgeous jewelry, impeccable makeup, famous brand’s dress, delicate accessories, and high-heel shoes. Looked like super models, they always talk about fashion and their own shape. Most of worse, they always talked about the same topic, never bored at these. In addition, they were seemly like workaholics, for example, they could not be absent except death (immediate family only), dismemberment (their own), or something vital. Gradually, she was influenced by them, changing/ changed tremendously, no matter what she enjoyed or not. At least, she was not still like strange and peculiar with others in the work surroundings.
In this place, she had to do things irrelative such as buying Starbocks coffee, parked her luxurious car, making seats reservation in restaurants, finding a new baby-sit or cook and so on. All in all, she must made a habit to manage everything detail for her boss, and run the Runway’s production cycle each day.
Since the book was produced, I think I am like Andrea’s situations a little. Having a part-time job, I had to obey employer’s order. For instance, I often had to do overtime, or I will get fired. Unfortunately, I also didn’t like my job, needing this salary. In my opinion, many people also met Andrea’s situations, not being able to quit easily, still requiring earning money unless they met ridiculous conditions like her.
It is really hard to avoid difficulty in our life. Especially, some people like Andrea are nobody, and they don’t have nice background or any experience. Thus, the moment they obtain an opportunity, they just take it. Then, they can learn things which cannot learn at school. After they are accustomed to the career life completely, they ruin their original life, too. They want to choose “right way” but they finally select “wrong way”.
