The first time I read a James Patterson and it definitely won't be the last one. With 1st to Die Patterson's got a terrific plot and his descriptions are truly terrifying. I was not expecting to like this book that much, I thought it'd be another thriller to keep me occupied whilst waiting at some airport or on the train to work. But I was wrong. There are twists and turns till the very last page, creepy characters that really make your hairs stand on end and good ones for whom you can actually feel sympathy....Continua
I do love a good thriller and there's no writer quite like Patterson for twists, turns and an evil character! This was no exception. I haven't read any of his Womens Murder Club books before and Im glad I stumbled upon the first in the series before others as I hate to read books in the wrong order. Its a pet hate!
This was a very good thriller. Patterson sure knows how to write an evil character and this might have been one of his worst. I love Lindsay Boxer as the main character can't wait to read more about her!
