Why is this book so famous?

I suspect just because back in the day there was little else to read (aside from Narnia) with a christian/fantasy slant?

A simplistic, moralistic story, full of polarization, starred by annoying characters.


One of my all-time favorites. An original sci-fi/fantasy story with wonderful characters and settings and a deep moral theme.

Read this a LONG time ago... I think I'll read it again sometime.
