If you're interested in alternative reality SF
Of all Neal Stephenson's books Anathem is the most difficult to read. There is less story and more dialogs about ideas. So, if you like a mesh of ideas about possible worlds, alternative realities, and the mind, with a fairly likeable science fiction...Continua

excellent book

I really loved this book. It has an interesting plot, with a well thought out world and metaphysics.
