This is the first Koontz book I have read. At first, it was a little hard to read but the story development was worth it. Once I was halfway through the book, I was hooked. The last 200 hundred pages, I couldn't put it down. The story involves several people and lots of reveals at the end. Very satisfied with this read. I found every 860+ pages of the book a page turner,and if you plan to read the book make sure you have no urgent or forth,and up and coming plans in the near future!
