So beautifully written and so dense I was afraid to read it least it was going to finish and have no more. Wonderful food for the intellect and the love for reading and writing and for the spirit. Totally captured now in the Glass Family, one more to read and then will have to wait till 2015 when the surprire release of a new Saliger's book will come. He promised there will be more on the Glass family. It amazes me to think how timely these books are and will be with what we are now ready to read, spiritually speaking.

Bellissimo libro!

I gave this book great attention because I wanted to figure out whether it is a religious or a love story. My conclusion here is that the author wanted to create a love story using the same discourse as the religious speech. There is plenty of discussion about the eternal prayer; the image of Jesus Christ, the "life in contemplation"; but there is also the life of the characters feeling lost in the normal world, and saving one another with the great power of love. It was a difficult reading, but I enjoyed the most part of it. Though, I still don't understand why Salinger is so praised in the literary world in this country.
