OMG an Anita Blake book that actually has a plot after Obsidian Butterfly! :O But why? Oh yes. Edward.
On a side note... why a supposedly feminist book has a depiction of all females other than the protagonist as evil, or weak, fragile, shallow (e.g. the Marshal who gets mauled) and Anita NEVER?
At least I appreciated the fact that she actually gets distracted.
Not too bad overall; still way too much of the "boo hoo, all the men hate me and say very inappropriate things that no real person would ever say" for my taste. But the stories with Edward are better - they have plot happening, and that's always good....Continua
