"If We Kiss" focuses on the thoughts of a young girl, Charlotte, who, as many young girls in reality do, falls in love with a guy who she is technically "off-limits" to, as in how her best friend likes him too. Those thoughts on whether it's "right" to like him, or why is he such a jerk one minute but such a sweetheart at another minute? I definitely see this happening all the time with my friends in reality, so it was not hard to connect with the story.
I quite liked the ending though; the scene that the author chose to end it on was a great choice. It showed very well that Charlotte ended up finding her answers on who her Mr. Right really is, not her dream guy, Kevin, but the good old George, who's the typical "nice" guy.
