Forse non era il libro giusto da cui iniziare? Non so. A parte la parte finale sinceramente mi sono un po' annoiata.
“In Persuasion Nation” Is a set of funny stories about weird american people. The first one is a letter from a marketing person of a firm that sells baby talking masks. It is funny because it is really absurd. The second one recounts the adventures of an old fellow who suspects that his grandson is gay. There are other few satirical stories like for example one letter that pretends to be a proposal for an amendment to the Constitution of the USA regarding same sex marriage, and a fictitious report of the life inside a laboratory of experimentation with primates. I liked the book a little bit, but it didn't catch me. I think that the author is very perceptive and satiric, but sometimes the reader is not in the mood for ironies, and maybe that was my case with this one.
