Found this bed-head notcher to be more interesting than Swann's Way; it is a little more structured, however the repetitions, with just a little deviation each time, can either be wearisome or one can let oneself just immerse.

Proust is a master, and what I love the most is that every time I read him, I feel the urge to write. I feel that my writing improves and I feel the drive to express myself in writing. I love him for that.
Started reading this years ago, then it just was becoming too close to my own circumstances of the time for me to be able to read with pleasure rather than pain. I'm going to resume from where I left it. Probably be one of those year-long ventures, but worth it.
Wonderful compelling ending caused me to finish this faster than I expected when I picked it up again recently....Continua
