I wish there were a Natural Method book for every language, where, as a self-contained course in the form of a story book, the meaning of new words is made clear by context or illustration, and bits of grammar are presented along the way.
You can find no language other than Latin in this book, which achieves this assuming no prior knowledge of the tongue.
I get stuck at Chapter 25 (approx. two third through the book) again. The jump in vocabulary is hard to handle at that point. But my grasp of conjugations has improved a bit and it's not as hard to follow this time.
