An... Odd story. The Nordic gods are half way between those who appear in Sandman and those we meet in American Gods, but this is obviously a story for younger readers, fun and entertaining. Not a masterpiece, but good (and short) enough to be worth reading a couple more times....Continua
The storyline and character developments are simple (it's a children's book, after all), but overall a fun read. If you have some background knowledge of Norse mythology, some touches would make you smile.
Odd is a guy whose father died... His life is in a small village and his adventure begins during a long winter, with a fox leading him to a bear and an eagle: they turn out to be Loki, Thor and Odin, beaten by the Frost Giants and turned into animals.
