I have read this book multiple times--every time I read it, I find something new in Austen's wonderful writing. The novel tells the story of finding love in the reality of a mercenary world and prescribed social norms.
La Cortellesi è straordinaria. Rende questo romanzo e i suoi personaggi vivi, difficile abbandonare l'ascolto! Bravissima Cortellesi (e Jane Austen, ovviamente).
This book is my freaking jam. I love Austen's style and how she makes all the characters so realistic and ironic. It is just so modern, I can understand why, after 200 years it's still pretty up-to-date
