A wonderful children's fictional mystery story based on historical facts - along the same lines as Blue Balliett's Chasing Vermeer.
It has something that has to do with history with a little fantasy with it. It also has to do something with William Shakespeare and his love of poetry.
It tells about a girl who makes friends with an eight grader. His name is Danny Cordova, the hottest boy in the eighth grade. He is interested in helping the girl(Hero Netherfield) find the Murphy diamond.
He finds his long-lost grandmother who's name is Miriam Roth and is the ex-wife of Arther Murphy. She is the neighbor to the Netherfields who just moved into town and gives Hero and danny clues to help find the diamond....Continua
