This was a great book which touches on dysfunctional relationships, and even sensitive issues like 'racism' and being Asian in a Western society.
What I really liked about this book is the fact that it puts forth the whole debate about Asian people dating white people and the different connotations which arise from an Asian man or woman dating a Caucasian person of the opposite sex.
Intriguing, more grown up than Optic Nerve and a lot funnier, Shortcomings is a good mature graphic novel to read.
