Given my recent obsession with pulp novels and graphic novels I was very glad to come across a couple of Sin City books at Oxfam. I'd been meaning to read Sin City for ages but somehow never got around to it.
I did enjoy this book a lot. I liked the ugly anti-hero and his quest for revenge for the woman he loved. It felt very pulpy and the style and the narrative was great. I felt the serial killer aspect and the over-the-top violence was not so pulpy. I think I would have enjoyed it more without these modern elements but still it was good overall and I will definitely read more....Continua
