"A wonderfully mesmerizing adventure, delving into the convoluted mind of one of modern fiction's most famous anti-heroes, the vampire Lestat. Rice's writing is elegant and thought-provoking and her story is a gem."THE SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNEFor cent ...Continua

los 3 primeros libros de la saga me gustaron mucho, pero este me resulto una lata, con suerte lo termine y la verdad me salte varias pág al acercarme al final.
si no fuera porque no dejo libros a media no lo habría terminado

There's no vampire tale like the one told by Anne Rice, now I see it.
Lestat is at its best and the ending reminded me that a little disappointment in victory doesn't mar a good story. One just can't get all he wants.

"The meaning of chastity is not to fall in love," she said, her focus sharpening as she looked at me. "I could fall in love with you. I know I could." She broke off, and then said in a low, troubled voice, "You could become my god. I know that's true...Continua

"Gretchen," I asked, "you're never afraid that your life has been wasted - that sickness and suffering will simply go on long after you've left the earth, and what you've done will mean nothing in the larger scheme?" "Lestat," she said, "it is the la...Continua

In a low voice, I told her many thing in English, only using French when for some reason I couldn't find the word I wanted, rambling on about the France of my time, and the crude little colony of New Orleans where I had existed after, and how wondrou...Continua
