It is very unusual to find work on I Ching (易經), either in Chinese or English, that is not based on Chu Xi (朱熹朱子也), the most famous neo-Confucianist (理學) , but rather 王弼。</p><p>Regarding the translation, I still like the earliest one by Wilhelm better, more terse & poetic that captures the economy of the Classical Chinese better. But Wilhelm/Bayne's interpretation also follows Chu Xi.</p><p>Mr. Chu seems to have a monopoly on many Chinese classics for hundreds of years. Orz.
