I was quite bewildered by the positive reviews - am I too shallow to find it shallow? Or did it loathe it because I saw in it when I hate in myself?
I mean, what kind of a Faith is it if it could be so readily shifted to the opposite extreme, according to the whim of the moment? what kind of an agnostic is Bendrix if he could so readily lend himself to the perspective of a believer, just because he suddenly find himself still desired by whom he thought had rejected him?
