From time to time, I would encounter a book that reminds me of Ford's Good Soldier, and when I check, yes, The Good Soldier is among that author's favorites! The Good Soldier is definitely a cool novel. But what's more important, in my opinion, is that many other novels since Good Soldier makes sense because of it. That makes Fordie's The Good Soldier a must.
Just a note: I enjoy the penguin edition very much, but please use norton edition (2nd ed. now) if you want to read it for scholarly purpose....Continua
