With the feel, action and adventure of a well done Sherlock Holmes, Mark Frost does some changes and comes up with a very nicely done counterpart to the legendary detective. With name changes that reflect the author of the origunal series and a new name for Sherlock, that befits a hero, the two face a nemesis just as deadly as Holme's constant foe and in ways that bring back the fun and thrills of those same novels from yesteryear. The only bad thing about this book, is that after you have read it, you want more, and unfortunately Mr. Frost has no intentions of that....Continua
This was a good mix of mystery, historical fiction and the supernatural. I liked how the characteristics of Holmes and Watson were displayed in Sparks and Doyle, respectively. While some scenes did get a bit clichéd, I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next book in the series, The Six Messiahs....Continua
