There should be more books like this for kids to read. It provides kids (especially, girls) with a different perspective of gender posibilities, in a simple story line which we're very familiar with. For me, it's not just a phony parody. Since we all know that reality is no tea party, for many cases, it seems impossible to both live in a fancy closet and deal with all the daily-life chores at the same time. I know there might have some marvelous superwomen can handle them all perfectly. But can the society just give us, the normal, ordinary women, a break? I'm looking forward to the open future, in which we're able to see a diversity within genders. Hey, men in miniskirts or women with jarhead ain't any big deal!
