Although I had watched the movie adapted from the book, I regret that I did not read this book earlier. The book has much much more than the movie.

Fantastic book about fighter jocks and the seven astronauts. As I recall, I was crying with emotion and simultaneously laughing at myself.
The book tells a more interesting story about the astronauts, while the movie is far better when it centers around test pilots - namely Yeager.
