To succeed, you need to posses the required skill and be lucky. This book talks about how to differentiate these two characteristics. In a nutshell, to prove you are skillful enough in a game, you can choose to lise as well. If the result of a game depends mostly on skill, a small sample is enough to justify. Or else the small sample could be dominated by randomness.
