Life sucks when your friends are pissed at you. Just ask Zoey Redbird – she’s become an expert on suckiness. In one week she has gone from having three boyfriends to having none, and from having a close group of friends who trusted and supported her, to being an outcast. Speaking of friends, the only two Zoey has left are undead and unMarked. And Neferet has declared war on humans, which Zoey knows in her heart is wrong. But will anyone listen to her? Zoey's adventures at vampyre finishing school take a wild and dangerous turn as loyalties are tested, shocking true intentions come to light, and an ancient evil is awakened in PC and Kristin Cast's spellbinding fourth House of Night novel.
This series just keeps on getting better and better! I absolutley adore it, it just keeps reminding me of a bit more grown up version of Harry Potter. Zoey is such a great character too, she is really relatable as she is obviously extremely gifted and special but she's just as obviously not perfect when it comes to making mistakes. Especially where her lovelife is concerned!
This book was a lot more dramatic and dark. It centers around Zoey and Aphrodite and the rest of the gang trying to stop Kalona from rising. He's this seriously evil, female-hating, fallen angel, nephilium, type thing. Aphrodite is becoming more and more of a loveable character. Shes a total bitch but you gotta love her outrageous statements! Also she is a strong woman who really helps to save a lot of lifes at the end of this book. Gotta say on the Zoey front, I am not in love with Erik at the moment, not even a little, so if he is her only love interest in the next book I will so not be impressed!...Continua
