80% of the people that go into environmental movement starts with some kind of food issue, organic food, food safety or just plain good food. As the U.S. food supply system is really out of whack, so the people have to DIY and start our own store and supply...etc. I am working with a group to open an consumer owned organic super market, like this one in San Diego:

Yes, Jet2, I came back and visited your page. Have not been that active at aNobii in previous year. Not much time to read...honestly.
Not cooking exactly...more like community organizing with an emphasis around food. Everyone get to vote 3 times a day with their food dollars, it can be a great way to effect social change. So, that's what I am into lately. Some call it Food Activism.
