Hi Simona,
Thanks for the kinds words re: my bookshelf. I can, in no way, say that I am even close to reading even one-quarter of the titles; I have used aNobii more as a tool, for sourcing & locating as many titles as I can, on as many possible subjects that interest me, & use the bookshelf to retain the information - for later dates. At least, that way, I will never be stuck for something interesting to read. The page you were looking at for me seems to be filled up - 6,000 + titles, & I was having trouble logging in, so I simply created another aNobii identity for myself - still Andrew Hoobin - listed my old page as a "friend", & kept racking up titles; that way, I still have access to all of the title information & I don't have to be bothered with trying god-knows how many different IT methods of trying to solve the log-in problem. I am assuming that you are Italian-Swiss(?). I have a very good friend who is originally from Palermo; her father was Sicilian (Tripolitania, actually), & her mother, a New Zealander; she now resides in Auckland, New Zealand. Would love to find like-minded individuals, such as yourself, as aNobii friends, however, up till now, I've simply kept adding books to my shelf; haven't found the time to go searching for people - &, as compatibility goes, I always seem to get a "low" rating whenever I check. Stay in touch. Nice to hear from you. Ci vediamo.
